2 down, 3 to (acquire, and) go...

Apologies for the quality of the pictures. This evening I spent painting the Yeld and finishing the movement trays for my Ogres.

It's less than I wanted to get done, but - what are you going to do? I'm lazy. :)

I did get my ratlings primed. They're up next for the painting.

  1. Nice! Are those two dipped? Trays look great, do you use pins or glue on them?

  2. Dipped using "settled" stain. The stain will separate if you leave it alone too long - which is why you usually want to stir the crap out of it (no shaking - you get air bubbles). Knowing it will do this - you can dip in the settled stuff and it won't be as dark.

Trays - Elemers glue to the rescue.

  3. For any of your readers with a woman in their lives: the air bubble problem is also the reason I, a professional nail tech, roll (which stirs with two little beads) instead of shake a bottle of nail polish before polishing nails. Just thought you'd wanna know. :)
